American Psycho is on the Broadway calendar in Playbill by Olivia Clement.
Based on the classic horror novel by Brett Easton Ellis, American Psycho is the story of 1980's financial deceit and corruption symbolized in the horrific (but incredibly stylish) descent of the musical's central alien character, Patrick Bateman, played by Benjamin Walker.
The American Psycho production's acclaimed London run, and it's reimagining at Broadway's Schoenfeld Theater, directed by Rupert Goold, features the creative genius for music and lyrics of Tony and Grammy Awards winner Duncan Sheik, book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, scenic design by Es Devlin, Lynne Page's choreography, costume design by Tony Award winner Katrina Lindsey, lighting design by Justin Townsend, sound design by Dan Moses Schreier, video design Finn Ross, music arranger Michael Shrubsole, with music director Jason Hart.
American Psycho stars Walker as central character Patrick Bateman. The all-star cast includes Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, Jennifer Damiano, Heléne Yorke, newcomer Drew Moerlein, Krystina Alabado, Dave Thomas Brown, Jordan Dean, Anna Eilinsfeld, Jason Hite, Erika Hunter, Holly James, Keith Randolph Smith as the detective, Theo Stockman, Alex Michael Stoll, Morgan Weed, Brandon Kalm, Sidney Morton, Antony Sagaria, with Neka Zang.
American Psycho ends previews this week and premieres on April 21st, 2016.
