Benjamin Walker Cast as George Pollard In the Heart of the Sea
Nathaniel Philbrick's In the Heart of the Sea is getting a big-screen narration, coming soon. Directed by Ron Howard and starring Chris Hemsworth, Benjamin Walker and Tom Holland, In the Heart of the Sea is the saga of the whaling ship Essex and the events that changed forever the way we see seafood and the way we read 19th century American literature.
Inspired by the Essex's tragic last voyage, the American writer Herman Melville used the events as a basis of the American classic, Moby Dick or, The Whale (1851). See Linda Ge's post in Up&Comers.com
